Diamond is the hardness known naturally occurring material, meaning it cannot be scratched by anything other than another diamond. For this reason diamond jewellery should be stored away from other diamond and softer gemstone set jewellery to avoid any damage.

Diamonds are oleophilic, meaning they are attracted to grease and oil. Any grease a diamond comes into contact with will stick to the surface of the stone making it appear dull. We always recommend that your diamond jewellery is put on after any makeup, hair products or perfumes have been applied.
