This beautiful and unique dress ring, made in 9 carat yellow gold, features an 8mm hexagonal step cut prasiolite quartz surrounded by a halo of thirty 1mm round brilliant cut natural diamonds.

Care and Cleaning
Prasiolite is the trade name given to green quartz, sometimes referred to as ‘green amethyst’, though amethyst is purple by definition.
Prasiolite’s leek green colouration is not found in nature, it is produced by heating violet amethyst or yellowish quartz from Brazil and Arizona to temperatures of around 500 degrees C.
This heat treatment is stable (permanent) under normal wear but prolonged exposure to sunlight will make the colour fade, so ensure all of your quartz jewellery is stored away from sunlight and remove it before sunbathing.
Like most other quartz prasiolite has a hardness of 7 meaning it can be scratched by some everyday objects and harder gemstones, for this reason care should always be taken when wearing and storing your quartz jewellery.
Prasiolite can be sensitive to sudden rises in temperature. For this reason prasiolite jewellery should never be steam cleaned but ultrasonic cleaning is usually safe.
You can clean your quartz jewellery at home using a jewellery or gemstone dip or cloth which can be purchased from us, or with warm soapy water and a soft brush.
